I live in an apartment building which has a strict rule that no part of the common area, including the front door, can be altered or added. They won't even let me ring the doorbell. So with that limitation, I don't have many options. In another house, I use and am a big fan of Nest cameras, but installing an outdoor camera isn't an option in this situation. I chose Brinno because it uses the same peephole structure so there are no noticeable changes to the front door. My first Brinno was DOA and I returned it immediately. I ordered a second one and it's good. The overall impression is very good. The corridor in front of my apartment is well lit so the view is great. I took a photo of turning on the device in the evening. The overall impression is good. It remains to be seen how long this will last. But so far I'm satisfied.
