Review on JUNHUI Filter Replacement Winix C545 by Gavin Ghram

Summary: At $35.99 this is a good and very viable alternative to buying branded Winix filters. ---- I needed new filters for my Winix C545 and came across these items as part of the Revain Vine selection so decided to give it a try. I am satisfied with these filters and can recommend them. The design isn't as good as the original filters and I noticed the following differences: First, the black filter is about 3/32" narrower and 3/16" shorter than the original filter. Winix filters. The difference is pretty small and I don't think it affects the performance of the air filter. Second, the white filter's tab is on the back of the filter, while the original filter's tab is more logical. on the front side. At first I thought there was no tongue at all until I saw it from behind. The tongue on this product is also much thinner than the Winix. However, I don't think it will have a huge impact on user experience. Third, the white filter has six spikes on the front compared to seven spikes on my original Winix filter. The distance between the spikes is also different. In the attached image you can see that the first peaks on each side are closer to the edge of the filter for better structural support. Again, I don't think this will greatly affect the performance of the air filter. The air coming out of the air filter smells clean and fresh with no weird odors so they definitely work and are good value for money compared to the Winix filters for sale. at costco.com ($44.99 for one white filter and four black filters).
