The material appears to be of good quality. It repels water and is thick enough to protect against light scratches. However, it is too close to the surface. To put it on you need to stretch and stretch a little. I'm concerned about the possibility of scratches as I have to pull and stretch to fit. Hopefully this will loosen up a bit with repeated use. At this point, it's like putting on a pair of very tight jeans. They may look nice, but putting them on and taking them off is a chore.
