Small handle not heat resistant enough
Small grip pads are not heat resistant enough. I still have to use an oven mitt when grabbing the small handle, even when I keep the temperature on "medium". And my pan is a large 12" cast iron pan, so the handle isn't even over the burner. First of all, this defeats the purpose of a pen cover. However, a longer pen cap is fine.
- NOTE: DO NOT use the holder in contact with an open flame. Do not insert this holder while it is in the oven. Remove the silicone handle before placing the dishes in a hot oven. Do not use above 250 degrees C/475 degrees Fahrenheit.
