I wanted to try probiotics on my dogs to help with teeth and gums (prevention) and breathing (immediate). I did a lot of research and also read reviews before deciding on Probiotics Plus. The blend is better than most I've seen, plus it contains prebiotics which I also find beneficial. And it was a reasonable price to boot. Having used almost the entire bottle on my two small dogs (one a day each for the past 2 months) here is my review: 1) Breathing has definitely improved. 2) My rat terrier chihuahua has had watery eyes every day since we got them as puppies. I didn't try to solve this problem but now it's solved - after about 2 weeks of starting probiotics her watery eyes stopped watering! I no longer have to wipe the thick mucus out of the corners of her eyes every day or two like we have for the past 7 years! There was absolutely nothing in her life that changed other than probiotics, so without a doubt it's cause and effect. 3) As for the teeth, I'll probably never know for sure as it's not an anti-tartar miracle drug that I can measure in any way. But my vet recommended it might help, which is why I started it in the first place. And while I usually only put a portion in their lunch dishes, I can also report that my very picky deer chihuahua eats them as a treat! So I am very satisfied and will continue to use this product.
