The SD card slot has stopped working. Otherwise good

Fits perfectly on my small desk; I didn't like the bright light at night so I opened it up and cut off the LED. Worked beautifully but I suspect that means it can no longer be returned. Unfortunately, everything worked afterwards, but the card reader just stopped working recently. All USB ports still work great but the main reason I bought this was so I could use the micro SD card from my camera. This slot was slightly offset from the case when I first got it, so it's probably a bad design. Spring.
