Review on GeoSafari Learning: Exploring the World with Educational Insights by Eliot Wahl

My child was very happy about his birthday. He is very fond of animals and their origins and we thought it was just a toy for him. However, it didn't work right out of the box. If you clicked on the killer whale it told you about the octopus, if you clicked on the camel it told you about the tarantula etc. Luckily Amazon let us return it with no problems but we are slackers. I've read the reviews and foolishly assumed that people were being too rough on their pens or globes as they were intended for young children, but now I realize that's not the case. My husband believes this is the result of poor workmanship and the electronics inside lose their calibration during shipping. But it was packed in 3 separate boxes. Complete disappointment. Don't waste time if you don't feel comfortable driving to a UPS store for a return.
