I bought one of these solar mounts and it appears to be good quality and well made with one small but fatal flaw. All cables are connected backwards. The standard convention with two pin SAE battery charging connectors is that for safety reasons the battery cable is connected with the exposed pin negative and the hidden internal connector positive. All cables supplied with this solar panel are reverse connected and the exposed pin is connected to the battery positive terminal. If the open end of the connector comes into contact with any part of the vehicle body, it could cause a dangerous short circuit that could cause an internal fire in the vehicle wiring or other injury. I don't want a tangle of cables. in my house that I have to put warning labels on in case someone makes the dangerous mistake of accidentally using it in place of a properly connected cable. Unfortunately I have to send this back. It looks like a good product apart from being too risky to keep.
