Review on πŸ” Enhanced Visibility with Custom Accessories 71121 2-Inch Blind Spot Mirror, Twin Pack by Chris Drury

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worked great - 2 inches on the driver's side and 3 inches on the passenger's side. One fell off.

Update: 04/13/2019: I found one on the ground next to my car this morning. It rained last night and the temperature barely reached 70 degrees. I cleaned it and put it back on. I'm ordering a few more and need to keep the alcohol swabs in the car in case this happens again. I'm not taking a star off because it works so well when left on. But if it happens again I'll try another brand in the same format and deduct a star or two. >>>> Worked fine. I have one on another car. Got swivels but returned these round swivels are the best. Installed a 2" lower inside corner on the driver's side and a 3" lower outside corner on the passenger side - thought since the passenger side mirror was farther away a larger one would be better. (My side mirrors on the XC70 were large - on a car with a smaller mirror, a 3" mirror would have been too big). see as the cars were too small to really get close. Thought to remove it. Then I watched a video on how to properly position the side rearview mirror - man, I've been driving this wrong for 50 years. The instructions said to position the driver's left side mirror, press your face against the window and adjust until only the edge is visible. Cars - I positioned the left wing mirror like this BUT my face was directly behind the wheel, not moving to the left and pressing against the glass. For RHS, place your face in the center of the vehicle, aligning it with the console/rear view mirror and positioning the right side mirror so that only the edge of the vehicle is visible. So when you sit straight in the driver's seat after adjustment, no side mirror shows the edge or side of your own car - a very uncomfortable feeling. the edge of the car in them, on each side, but not in the side mirrors themselves. The idea is that if a car disappears from the rear view mirror, it should reappear in the side mirror. And with this setup, the cars behind you do the same - they disappear from your rearview mirror and start appearing in your side mirror, and the magic wand on the mirrors shows the full fisheye image of the car. Cool, so after 50 years I finally got it right. Oh way. I have a blind spot monitor in my car but what was missing was seeing what car is there, not just a light to indicate something is there. And those little velcro straps do just that and give me a lot more confidence, especially when the blind spot monitor isn't always at 100%. focused on looking in mirrors instead of straight ahead. But I have confirmed that this setup works fine. 50 years wasted.
