We've used these movers to move furniture onto both hardwood and lacquered linoleum floors and they work great. There are also a few spots where we used them all the time, like leveling devices, with some furniture's legs on the floor and others on the carpet. So far, so good. I would definitely buy them again and can recommend them unreservedly. By the way, we had several types of sliders on hand, and these are the ones that everyone used every time. Simply the best.
