Pro Keys selected for comparison as the solution doesn't pinch the screen like some others. I like it. Contrary to what ZAGG says, it's not light, it's quite heavy - other than that, I prefer a bit of weight over something thin. The keyboard isn't full-size like an iPad, but it's not overly cramped either. The touch action is good. Good quality product. I wish it was black or a darker shade of grey. What I love about the Pro Keys is that the iPad itself is encased in an open screen case and the keyboard assembly is magnetically attached to the iPad so the screen itself doesn't get stuck in any way unlike some other designs. To remove your iPad from the keyboard, simply remove it and then use the iPad itself - the back of the iPad is protected. (Of course, I put a protective film on the screen.) The keyboard is easily recognized via Bluetooth. I bought a Logitech MX Master 3 mouse to go with it, which is like a small laptop with the keyboard and mouse attached. I prefer a mouse to a touchpad keyboard. I took published advice and bought the dongle version of the MX Master 3 instead of the Apple version - this gave me the flexibility to use a mouse with an iPad or Windows PC with a merging receiver. Backlit keys could be brighter. Maybe I didn't learn how to adjust the brightness. The Pro Key case can also hold an Apple Pencil, and as a case plus keyboard, it's pretty nifty. One year warranty only; hopefully it will last much longer than a year of use - 3-5 years (without abuse) would be nice. Realize that it cannot be repaired out of warranty and is essentially a one-time item/solution; But even as a year-long solution, it's still worth it because it comes in neat packaging that you can carry around and use - convenience with protection.
