These shoes have a really good rubber sole. Thick and non-slip. You'll notice that the blue backing of the sole sticks out about a quarter of an inch. Durable padding on the insole. Not much bow support. Good padding around the ankle. I wish there was a pull tab on the back but there isn't. There are two things on the list. . . . running shoes. . . And. . . Walking boots. They are definitely not running shoes. . . but it is a very walking shoe. I'm a size 9. Each weighs 12.13 ounces. These shoes are made in Vietnam.
