I was really impressed with the manufacture of these gloves. The leather felt heavy enough but not so stiff that it compromised traction. The stitches were a bit heavy on the left palm but thorough and well placed. I would rather know that the material is well connected. (Isn't that like wearing them to a steakhouse?) I love the adjustable cuffs and ability to keep sparks/embers out of the gloves. (Not sure if the delicate inner forearms will agree over time?) The cuffs fit snugly around the forearm, which is also a nice feature. I did a little MIG welding with them and didn't feel any heat. (Okay, outside of 104 F outdoors and about right in the store?) They also work well with a grill, smoker, or turkey fryer, depending on the time of year. I ordered a large size and they were comfortable. I'm 5ft 11" and 185lbs and honestly I could fit in a medium size. The gloves slide well without knocking off the lining like some gloves do. I also have a 1 year old German shepherd to use for his more intense training. I will report on durability over time.
