Review on 🔧 Mastech MS8268: The Ultimate Digital Multimeter Meter for AC/DC Auto/Manual Range Measurements by John May

I rarely write reviews but my position meant I had to write something to let others know about the product. Being an electrical engineering student, I use multimeters extensively. I blew my fuses in the multimeter and they are hard to find. I needed something fast and didn't want to spend a lot of money on it so decided to give it a try because it has great reviews. I have an Amprobe 530 and it costs about $100. So far this multimeter works very similar to my Amperprobe which costs 5 times more. Not to mention the cheaper and more readily available fuse, which in itself is a huge benefit. I checked the measurements with an oscilloscope and was very surprised at the accuracy. I checked resistance, capacitance, frequencies, voltage (AC and DC), current (AC and DC) and everything was very, very close to where it should be. It even measures transistors, which I don't even think my Amperprobe does (not really sure because I've never needed them). Conclusion: This multimeter far exceeded my expectations for the cost.
