Review on Streamlined Running Backpack By FITLY For The Minimalist Athlete by Jahan Arias

Revainrating 5 out of 5

If you hate bulky running packs buy this.

Honest review: this backpack is lightweight, it stays in place/doesn’t shuffle around, the magnetic harness clip is weirdly effective at keeping it on (was unsure about that before ordering) and also super convenient for taking off quickly it’s the best of both worlds. The bladder is definitely small and not meant for super long runs or for people that want to be chugging water the whole time but if you just take reasonable sips throughout your runs/races and don’t need a lot of water with you this is a great pack. The pockets in the front are so discreet and perfect for chapstick, energy chews, airpods, key whatever and the phone pocket in the back is a must so your phone isn’t jostling around. There’s also a whistle which I somehow didn’t realize until I got the pack and I just think that’s super thoughtful and unique. Also overall look is badass, so minimal it goes kind of unnoticed/under the radar which I personally like as opposed to the usual bulky backpack. The only cons I can think of if I had to think of any is that if you need lots of water or you need to store a ton of stuff this obviously isn’t the bag for you and if you are super tiny like me the straps over the shoulders could get like a quarter inch tighter in my opinion but that’s just super nit picky it’s honestly pretty much perfect. Will be using for a Spartan race next month and will be recommending to anyone that asks. Also, when I contacted customer service about a piece I accidentally broke/needed to replace they were extremely helpful and even fun to work with. Officially a fan of this company.

Pros
  • Multiple compartments and pockets provide easy organization of your items
Cons
  • The backpack's straps might be prone to slipping during rigorous activity
