Bought for my brother who loves to bike all year round. He was looking for a balaclava that would keep the cold wind on his face at temperatures below 45 degrees. He doesn't tend to ride his bike when the temperature is well below freezing unless it's a very nice day, but his adaptation to pulling part of his face up and down in warmer (or cooler) temperatures does , was also a plus. Of course, convenience was also a very important factor. This balaclava goes with everything and he loves it! He usually wears earmuffs but finds that the balaclava does it in a way he doesn't have to. However, he does not find the balaclava too warm or uncomfortable.
