. Maybe it's a 3 star item. It would be if you could actually put a cup underneath. Well if you're short on space this could be a good unit. While I really like how small it is, I have issues with how cumbersome it is to use. You can ONLY use the carafe, no cup is suitable for it. a small carafe in your cup. Well, maybe if the carafe lid would actually snap into place and not burst when you poured water into the coffee maker or poured coffee into your mug. It's silly to take extra steps just to save some counter space. So, yes, it heats up quickly, but this one still isn't the answer in our house because, frankly, it's uncomfortable to use. Such a mess every time you pour water into the coffee maker and then coffee from the carafe. I tried a few days. Now my husband wanted to throw it out the door after trying to use it.
