It worked great for two weeks. My setup was very simple. The unit was installed in a bedroom for use with two outdoor speakers connected to a Pyle amplifier with 16 gauge floor speaker wire. The distance was about 25 feet. As sources I used a TV and a USB stick. After two weeks, the Pyle amp began making a rhythmic "bang" sound along with the music. This was seen as a pulsing blue light indicating volume. It even pulsed between songs when it should have been quiet. Since the amp was being tuned during the busy holiday season, I didn't have a chance to fix it. I ended up ruling out the speakers, leaving only the Pyle Home PCAU35A cable as the culprit. With over 300 reviews and a 3-star rating, they were right on the edge of my buy/don't buy threshold. I wanted this unit to work for an upcoming Christmas party so I quickly ordered another amp from a different manufacturer. I will attempt to return this unit to the supplier for a return/exchange/repair and will update this review with more stars if I get a positive result.
