I already had a monitor with a USB DC connection, but this device has monitoring and an adjustable load, which makes it much more useful. It's small, but the display has good visibility. It uses two controls (coarse and fine) to adjust the load current, which works but is cumbersome to use. The "fine" range is too precise, so you usually have to juggle two controls with the coarse control to get very close to your final setting so that you can input it accurately with the fine control. Both controllers are potentiometers, so they only have an angle of rotation of about 270 degrees. The best choice would be a single shaft rotary encoder. The load features a small, relatively quiet, USB-powered axial fan. A practical item and definitely good value for money.
