Description of 🔌 Eversame USB Power Meter: Accurate 35W Adjustable Constant Current USB Load Tester for Charger & Cable Testing, Power Bank Capacity Analysis - QC2.0/3.0 Trigger

· 【Combination Of USB Load and Multimeter】 Featured with OLED Screen Display, this USB Tester supports 0 - 35W power continuously aging discharge testing. It enables you to monitor the value of the Current, Charging Voltage-Discharge, Resistance, Capacitance, Temp of the Boards and Time. While voltage tester can also calculate the capacity of the battery (tablets or smartphones) and power bank in mah (ma hour), in wh (w hour). One button achieves the data clearing and resetting. · 【2-Pot Current Adjustment】 This USB Power Meter Load Tester endures the wide voltage range (DC3-21V) and current range (0-3A). The two knobs are for coarse-current (0-3A) and fine-current (+/-0.2A) adjustable trimming, which can be used for quick and accurate current controlling. The screw terminal is for external voltage measurement, allowing you to test batteries or other load sources. (Please make sure both 2 knobs of the USB Meter are turned to counterclockwise fully before testing.). · 【Comprehensive Pack】 Coupled with a QC2.0/QC3.0 trigger, this USB voltage tester can test QC2.0/QC3.0 fast charging voltage, loading a USB power source at 5V/3A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.25A and 20V/1.5A for more accurate testing. (Note: The trigger can just work with the QC 2.0/3.0 Quick Chargers, instead of the ordinary chargers.). · 【Versatile USB Electronic Load】 The various USB-A ports on the USB digital tester support most of USB Cables load testing, compatible with the iphone5s/6s, Android micro-USB, mini USB or USB-C 3.0 interfaces. By this current size, you can measure the impedance of micro-USB cables and distinguish charge data cable quality is good or bad. · 【Advanced Temperature Controlling System】 Using high-grade aluminum radiator with copper roll fan, to disperse the heat and prolong the life of the load. (The intelligent cooling fan will start working when temperature is higher than 55°C, and automatically stops when temperature is under 45°.) PACKAGE: 1X 1 x 35W electronic load + 1 x QC2.0/3.0 trigger. Every item includes 24-Month hassle-free warranty.

Display has stopped working

The display was a bit finicky at first, but it worked (backlight occasionally turned off). Fast forward, a few uses later, and the backlight stopped working completely. I tried soldering the contacts but no luck. So a dead end :-(

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Weak

Great tester for advanced users.

Excellent for the purposes described. I especially like that it checks all USB-C PD voltages. Technicians will probably enjoy the spartan user interface more than beginners. If you don't understand the concepts and technology, you may find it difficult to use.

Great device. for tester

I love being able to load and control voltage/amps on all kinds of USB ports and wall warts. You can really know what is going on through the cable. This is a worthy upgrade for a standalone USB meter. The quality control device was useless to me. I was hoping it would work with the USB-C PD (powered) standard, but it doesn't.

Great device, need better instructions

Bought to test different chargers and cables. It works as advertised. Now I can label my cables with the amperage and the same with my chargers. The only feature I'm trying to figure out is the USB power interface. Nothing happens when connected to a PC, when connected to charging it turns on, but the controller does not work. I hope the seller sees this and sheds some light because this gadget is a must have! The first photo is the power adapter, the second is the cable I'm reviewing.

Malfunction. Terrible continuous coil whine, consuming at least 200mA

Faulty. Even set as low as the knobs will allow, it still draws around 200mA, rendering it useless for its stated purpose. Then a constant loud squeak from the coil. It's the loudest high-frequency coil squeak I've ever heard, and it's giving me a headache. Considering the battery can take hours to die, you'd have to be a masochist to keep this thing running that long. I will return this soon. Looking through some other reviews, mine is not this seller's only marriage.

Good price but cumbersome to use

I already had a monitor with a USB DC connection, but this device has monitoring and an adjustable load, which makes it much more useful. It's small, but the display has good visibility. It uses two controls (coarse and fine) to adjust the load current, which works but is cumbersome to use. The "fine" range is too precise, so you usually have to juggle two controls with the coarse control to get very close to your final setting so that you can input it accurately with the fine control. Both…

current consumption without load; Doesn't measure properly above 2.5A

Basically I bought it to run the included QC, but it can also handle a bit more power than my other variable electronic load. Unfortunately, once power is connected, even with the potentiometers fully turned down, the meter will show the current drawn (reading 0.20A at 5V). Another problem I've encountered, and maybe I'm not educated enough to understand, is that the voltage across my 5V 3A charger drops significantly at the same set current as my other load : Drawing 1A, I measure a constant…

Might work for some but the product has issues

Let me start with the fact that the product's features look great and should be enough to test most mobile chargers and power banks. However, if you have a power supply that can deliver a higher current, or just a Li-Ion or Lipo battery, this load is useless. The fine adjustment, which allows the current to be set to only 0.2 amps, works perfectly. When you start adjusting the current with the coarse adjustment, it suddenly jumps from about 0.05-07 to 3->5 amps (depending on the input…

Works great but an English manual would be nice

I had a lot of fun with this thing and tested every USB power adapter/charger and cable I could get my hands on. Surprisingly, many of them work pretty poorly. This device will help eliminate them. I scowl at all inferior things! The only criticism is that the instructions are only in Chinese. The default display is also Chinese, but six button presses change it to English. Despite the lack of an English manual, it's pretty obvious what most of the features do. A few different notes: 1) With…
