When I first received these headphones, I was a little confused by the touch sides. I accidentally clicked on it and paused/resumed my audiobooks. I even left a 2 star review thinking it was a malfunction. After a few days, however, I got used to the buttons and they're pretty intuitive once you know they're there. I appreciate being able to fast forward and rewind Audible by double tapping the left or right side and adjust the volume by holding it down. The buttons are still a bit over-sensitive and you have to be careful not to touch them when you take out and/or put the earbuds away.
