Review on 🚗 Enhance Vehicle Performance with the GM Genuine Parts 215-479 Vacuum Pump by Matthew Gonzales

This part was a genuine AC Delco part. Made in Hungary Stamped on the part that comes out of the box. Installed as a direct replacement for a factory part on a 2002 GMC Sierra (Chevrolet Silverado) HD 2500 Duramax Diesel pickup. I'm expanding the vehicle type to hopefully help others find a cheap original replacement. Although the shipping said 5-6 weeks, I received this part in 3 days and the price was the best on the web. Also cheaper than direct prices for GM employees. My problem was that the check engine light would not go out despite replacing the mass air flow sensor. Concluded that this part only drew about 3 pounds of vacuum. The bushings or seals inside were so loose that I could turn the wheel stem with my fingers. Have fun shopping!
