Poor hinge construction

A wall cabinet with two hinges is too expensive. However, we're having some trouble getting it to work. We didn't think to inspect the cabinet prior to remote installation and here's what we found. - The top left corner of the glass door was dented where the pin holds the door. Frame (opposite spring-loaded pin for door removal). Because of this, the door wobbled when opening and closing. - Not such a big deal, not worth the hassle of exchanging, is it? - Missing circlips to attach the body to the main hinges. - Again, no big deal. - We removed the knot to attach the back to the wall as it is lighter - that's why I like/prefer these designs. When sliding the cabinet, the weld on the top hinge came loose from the frame. The weld looked like it had just been soldered and popped. At first I thought my assistant might have taken the weight off the knot while holding it in place, but after looking closely I just wouldn't trust these hinges to support any appreciable weight, especially when the locks are open and the cupboard is open. Unfortunately returning such a large item is difficult and we had to wire the patch panel up the same day. Our solution was to refund the buyer for the defective item and drill two holes in the top and use a metal screw to hold them together. Very poor quality control process. I suspect that not all items delivered are like this, otherwise value for money is reasonable. Typically spend $600 on cases from similar well-known brands, but they come with a UL listing, which some cities require for approval.
