Sitting on the deep sofa again
The original remote died (yes I changed the batteries) went online and found that this brand of remote had a little history of death. I have ordered another one. It arrived quicker than expected, put the batteries in and can change channels and volume again. It's a lot nicer than sitting in front of the TV for 15 minutes trying to find a show because you have to wait for the commercial to end so you can see what show is on.
