We bought this for my 4 year old daughter. We received the bike in very good condition. I read some reviews that had frame flex issues but I had a really hard time finding a girls off road bike that broke arms and pedals. We were lucky, there were no defects. The bike was very easy to put together in less than 30 minutes and tells you exactly what tools to have ready, great instructions. My daughter has used it every day since it was assembled. At the moment she's using the pedal brakes she's used to, but I love that in the future we can show her how to use the handbrakes on the same bike when she's ready to upgrade to a bigger bike in the race. the next few years.
