I bought this bike for my 4 year old granddaughter, she loves it and rides it all the time. The bike is very strong, you can sit on it and don't worry about it tipping over. The training wheels are made of hard plastic and can be removed after achieving balance. This is a good buy for anyone who wants to learn to ride a bike with a young child.

I bought it for my 4 year old granddaughter. She has literally ridden it multiple times. The pedals no longer turn. My son took it apart and said that it looks like no grease was added to the bearings so they are stuck and ruined the part that makes them spin. I'm so sad. She had it less than three months and should not be ridden. Save your money and go to the store and buy one that can be returned if defective.
