I still have the ASICS Gel Nimbus 15 running shoes because they are so durable they last about 7-8 years (I bought two pairs). I just bought a new pair of ASICS Gel Nimbus 22 running shoes and tried them out at home. I would say the sizes are about the same. The 22nd is no narrower, wider, shorter or longer than the 15. The 22 cushioning pads in the shoe upper over the forefoot have significantly fewer. I understand why some people wear this area down in 3 months or less. It worries me how long this area will last. I prefer the thicker and more durable cushioning/mesh 15 and the extra material in the front toe box. I have 30 days to decide whether to keep the 22s, but it's hard to imagine them lasting 78 years like the 15s.
