Good product poor quality control
I'm not sure who is in charge of quality control here but there must have been some confusion. The shelves are described as 4" and I suspect that's what they were intended for as the wall brackets are sized accordingly. Virtually useless unless I rip them apart with a table saw. But given the time, all of that "I might as well buy a stain and make it myself. Good idea, just poor execution. I was willing to pay for the convenience of prefab shelves, hence my purchase. But that completely defeats the purpose of convenience."
