I can't believe I ever lived without a solar panel. And as soon as I can stay on budget I will be buying more for my other cameras! It really is a lot more convenient than lowering the camera to change batteries every week. I put this on my cameras by the door so my kids are constantly coming in and out and I don't have to keep changing batteries. And although there is only a few hours of direct sunlight in this location, this camera never charges below 90%. I'm excited to see how well it performs as we move into the cloudier winter months, but for now I'm really happy! The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because they are overpriced. I can buy a full size 100 watt solar panel for about the same price as this tiny thing.
