Review on VViViD Epoxy High Gloss Carbon Fiber Automotive Vinyl Wrap (Grey by Daniel Jackson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

One of the nicest high gloss carbon fiber samples

I taped 5 pieces of interior trim with vinyl wrap, it took me 3 hours, 98% perfection, 70% overall satisfaction. PRO: One of the most beautiful designs in high gloss carbon fiber. CONS: 1. Very poor cohesion, it hardly sticks to things at room temperature, won't stick to corners or edges unless you heat it. 2. It's not good for the outside. I'm hoping the company can improve the adhesive they use on the back of the vinyl, it's not because of the thickness of the vinyl. I found it difficult to stick vinyl to the corners and edges of the door panel even when I heated it. But when I put the panels back on my car, my car was missing gaps between the doors and the door panels, it could push out the blister on the edges, causing defects. In general, you need to be patient and do more work than other vinyl wraps. They take more time to heat up and apply to the surface, so you need better heating and cutting tools. But it's some of the finest carbon fiber vinyl, no pain and no gain. I do not recommend it to everyone as it requires high skill or professional installation.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
