This is not a walk in the park.

This vinyl is very thick. Too thick to wrap easily. I've been using vinyl for ten years now and I'm not used to wrapping with vinyl this thick. I can reduce it, but it's easy to put too much heat on it. With too much heat, it hardens quickly and then you can't do anything with it. Once I got the hang of it, I was able to glue these accent pieces onto my '08" Chevy Avalanche. I'm not done yet, but I like how it looks so far. NO RUSH - GOOD PRODUCT!

I used this product to create a design on the back of one of my cars. The tailgate had a crack in the tailgate (common SUV year). The hint I found after making a few mistakes was this: 1) Clean the surface with alcohol or hand sanitizer gel and a clean white rag. Apply slowly and carefully as you will find…

One of the nicest high gloss carbon fiber samples

I taped 5 pieces of interior trim with vinyl wrap, it took me 3 hours, 98% perfection, 70% overall satisfaction. PRO: One of the most beautiful designs in high gloss carbon fiber. CONS: 1. Very poor cohesion, it hardly sticks to things at room temperature, won't stick to corners or edges unless you heat it. 2. It's not good for the outside. I'm hoping the company can improve the adhesive they use on the back of the vinyl, it's not because of the thickness of the vinyl. I found it difficult to…

Pretty cool - 1st time. Suburban LTZ

First of all, this is the first time I've used any type of vinyl wrap. After some research I decided to try Vvivid Carbon. It is definitely thick and high quality material. I used a heat gun to install them on my 2014 Suburban LTZ. I hated the wood grain interior and wanted some changes. I started with the rear window trim which I found to be a pretty good fit and gave me an idea of how to handle the heat and material. Then I moved on to the windshield trims which are more complex due to the…
