So I was hesitant to buy it at first as it seems like the vast majority of the good reviews got it for free so I thought I'd give it a try . I just moved my setup and needed more than the max length than a standard USB 3.0 extension cable as my webcam froze, wouldn't turn on etc from daisy chaining a 15ft and a 6ft cable together. So I bought this and it's currently plugged into a hub, and I also plugged in the power adapter to prevent signal or performance degradation. It currently supports Logitech Brio with full 4k 30fps capability for the camera, my mouse, my audio interface and my two monitors. No issues with random disconnects, no issues with webcam quality or consistency, all my sounds are loud and clear. Needless to say I am very happy with such a good, simple and affordable solution.
