I was surprised how bright the little light was. My bikes are currently surrounded by stuff in the garage so I couldn't take them out for a road test, so I checked the backyard lights. See attached picture. Light charged overnight. I woke up to a green LED changing from red to indicate charging status. Fit and finish are good. The material looks high quality. He makes a very durable impression. There are 3 modes: high, low and flashing. Since it comes with a 30-day guarantee and the description says "IP65 waterproof" (dustproof and splashproof), I submerged it about an inch under water. Water in the sink for about 5 minutes with the light on (not the best way to test IP65 so don't submerge the light in water LOL) then I took it out but didn't dry it out so the water would seep out if the seals were leaking. It still worked when I took it out and it worked the next day, so I think it will survive the unexpected rains while driving. The red taillight is what it is, just a 3-LED red flashing light. It's not too bright to cause problems for drivers, but bright enough to be seen. The bracket appears to be standard. There are slide guides and a latch for easy removal. Since I haven't actually installed them, I'll update my review if there are any issues with the mounting hardware. In general I am satisfied with the purchase.
