Review on GE WB2X9154 Gas Igniter: Efficient Broiler and Oven Sparking Solution by Bruce Marable

Purchased to replace a burnt igniter in a GE XL44 Oven. I have the JGBS23GEV4WH model, but it should also work with the JGBS23GEV4AD and JGBS23WEV4WW models. The GE website is annoying because it doesn't list the actual part number, but I found the number (WB2X9154) on another website. The item fit perfectly. You will need to cut the wires from the old igniter and connect the connectors to the new igniter. There's no getting around that because I don't think they sell detonators with the plugs properly inserted. I paid more for this igniter because I wanted the ease of getting a genuine GE replacement, but you could probably save money if you were willing to take the risk with one of the generics.
