Review on 💧 Ultimate Leak-Proof Water Bottle Cap: Klean Kanteen Stainless Steel Loop Cap by Matt Hamilton

I bought this to replace the smelly plastic cap that came with my 27oz Klean Kanteen water bottle but I'm having some issues with it. The seal is not very good. I try not to twist it too tight or I'll strain my fingers trying to unscrew the flimsy metal loop. But if it stays too loose, it will keep leaking. The metal loop isn't the roomiest loop ever, but I was able to hold it quite comfortably with one of my little Asian fingers. At the same time it is too small. and too big. It's too short to screw it in further, like a plastic cap, which I believe was a solution to soften the metal-on-metal noise of screwing it in and out (it's not ridiculously loud, but certainly not quiet ). But at the same time it's all solid metal, so don't think there's a cavity inside, like a plastic lid that holds a good ounce, maybe more, or a container of water. While I love having a plastic-free lid and the smell that they bring (except for the silicone o-ring. The metal lid still needs it to work), that metal lid comes with its own list of problems itself.
