The first inductive sensor I received did not read the ignition timing correctly. From about 6 degrees forward, which is enough to screw up your engine. I was just curious, so I'm comparing it to two running timers, that's how I know. I'm a shade tree mechanic and just work on my machines, I really like this timer. The light is bright and focused, you don't need to hold down the power button, it stays on/off after you press it. The cable is detachable and lightweight. The battery clamps aren't the best, I'll probably switch to others. In general I'm happy, I like it.
