That's exactly what I bought it for: it keeps my plastic containers and lids from flying around. However, I could wish for a smarter hook system. These are chunky plastic hooks best suited for horizontal bars. They have no snaps and are only held in place by tension. That means putting up hooks does the trick every time. None of the hooks stay hooked anywhere between uses, and few of them stay where you want them when you reset them. i don't hate it That's valuable to me, but I know there's a way to make them better.
