Rescuing a useless water bottle completes with a new screw on the SIGG cap. Thanks to an enthusiastic schnauzer and a forgetful owner, we're on cap #3. This time I did some research and bought an extra one in case of an accident. I'm guessing the cost of a replacement cap is about the same as a couple boxes of single-use water bottles, and (with proper care) constant use of a SIGG water bottle will save many, many discarded plastic bottles from landfill for eternity. .
