Review on Dublin River Boots Brown Ladies Sports & Fitness by Tanner Miller

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good boots (there is room for improvement)

What looks like a dream boot doesn't add up one bit, hence 4 stars. They definitely run small, so order at least half a size larger. I say at least because half a size up is probably closer to your actual shoe size, and if you wear socks and extra thick socks, you'll need a full size up. I'm 5'9", about 147 pounds, wear a size 9 shoes and have medium to thin feet. I ordered a 9.5 and they are a little tight in the foot and toe area, so more like a true size 9 with little room for socks and no room for thicker socks. The upper calf of the boot is quite roomy and also in the area above the ankle they are very easy to put on and take off for a medium to slim foot. But if your feet are slightly wider than are average or your calves are larger than average I would definitely order a wider version. The sole is thick and durable with good sole/heel separation and a decent heel height so they are suitable for riding as well. I wish the outsole was a little more flexible and had a little better cushioning in the insole (e.g. memory foam would be great!) and the leather upper of the boot was a little more roomy, but I hope they give a little after if you do chop? They look amazing and I love that I can ride in the same boot! I am a size 9 and my next pair (if it works when worn/shrunk in) my next pair will be a size 10.
