I have 4 toilets and bought 8 of them. Before that (maybe 18 months) both bleach cartridges and blue water cartridges (I think they were blue plastic but I don't remember exactly) worked. For the last 8 packs (blue water, light green plastic), the cartridges were just in the box (not shrink-wrapped in paper like I thought they all were). Anyway, they didn't work. After going through two (they lasted about 6 weeks) I threw them ALL away and ordered bleach cartridges. I can try blue plastic (i.e. blue water but not green (could it be 8100?). They used to work but those green plastics were actually useless (sorry for the harshness but it's true). Even the unsealed cartridges don't doesn't seem to have a manufacturing date, the sealed ones (pure water, bleach I think) have the date on separate packaging which is used to seal each cartridge before use). Even then, no expiry date is given. Abandoning her was a very costly lesson. I bought an annual fee for each of the 4 toilets.
