Review on Insta Bed Queen Mattress Never Flat by Liz Taylor

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Absolute rubbish. Not enough for one month usage. Plus other annoyances.

Very poor quality. After about 30 nights of use, the mattress developed a hole about 1/2 inch right at the seam of one of the small round circles (which are in the mattress for some unknown reason) and the rest of the material. It happened spontaneously and I was laying in bed getting ready for bed and started hearing a leak out of nowhere. pump because it is likely. This thing also worked every time I got up off my mattress for about 30 seconds. every time This culminated in the bed getting harder and harder for no reason over the course of just a few days.-The bed itself is a bit too hard for my liking, even on the lowest setting, which you only have 3 choices from. Deflating the mattress while you're lying on it can make it as soft as you seem, but once you're up the aquarium's pump will bring it back up to full pressure, which can take a few minutes. So if you have to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, you end up back in an overly full bed and have to listen to the pump hum for a few minutes while cleaning up. Your business. Aggravating. I also assume that if you share it, it seriously bothers the second person in the bed. - A "pillowcase" is just a lightly filled sheet that barely fits on a bed. It doesn't stand still at all, and because of that, you'll have to remake the bed in about a day. The bed itself is about 10% smaller than a regular queen bed, so all your linens lie very loosely on it, which also helps you take it off easily. And the biggest annoyance of all, IMHO. The second pump doesn't even do the job I hired it to do! When the mattress leaked fatally, I simply taped the hole up with packing tape to get through the night and assumed that the second pump would simply keep ventilating during the night and might bother me a bit. It's not like this. I literally woke up to the floor several times and the pump never turned on! Only when I finally had to get up for work after a terrible night and the mattress was almost completely empty did the aquarium pump finally switch on. Thanks for nothing! --- I bought this mattress to replace a 13 year old Aerobed that had a slow leak that I couldn't find (I suspect the seal in the pump has failed and Aerobed no longer sells parts for this model ). Over the life of this mattress, due to various moves and temporary jobs out of town, he saw months of uninterrupted use, which probably accounted for a year or two of service. I bought this bed specifically for the second pump, so a failure like my Aerobed SHOULD NOT render it inoperable. I found the second pump to be completely useless for reinflating the leak and apparently didn't even do it for a fraction of the time the aerobed did. The only benefit is that this bed is about half the cost of the Aerobed and I will replace it next time I need it. Revain is replacing this bed under their returns policy, but I won't trust a replacement for more than a couple of weeks, which is all I need now while I complete my move. I'll also note that physically this bed weighs about half the weight of the Aerobed, leading me to believe the material is about half the thickness, which also matches its look and feel. In any case. I stay away from this bed. Either buy something very cheap or switch to something much more expensive. I think if I had to do this over and over again I would probably just buy a cheap regular mattress wherever I need to roam and throw it out when the assignment or move is over. It seems all airbeds are pretty much useless, and aside from being extremely easy to move around, they're not worth the hassle.
