Review on Enhanced Performance and Safety: Giro Aerohead MIPS Adult Road Cycling Helmet by Dustin Citizen

First of all I was happy with it until it was delivered. It is brand new but the retail box is torn at the top and front. No big deal, just a box. Then I noticed that the helmet seems to be used, not new, has a strange smell, but there are doubts that it could be the manufacturer's smell, for example the smell of a new car. So I tried it on and the fit was good except the visor put pressure on my upper ears and the visor was a bit sharp. Another thing is that the tail blocks the ability to adjust the density at the back of the head. I have thin fingers and it was very difficult for me to adjust spontaneously. Then I notice this brown spot on the helmet. Looks disgusting, like poop or something, until then I didn't want to mess with it as I'm completely frustrated now. Finally, for $300, I think it should come with a carrying case. Most others in this price range come with a case. If it was around $150 it would be a good choice but considering it's supposed to be new but with all of the above something just doesn't add up.
