fit me when I first used it

I've never had a helmet like this for my TT races and I've only worn it once before races and had no problems. I only wish you could order a different color lens when ordering the helmet. Had to find an online bike shop with the same helmet to order lighter lenses in case some races were on a darker day where darker tinted lenses would be too dark for me.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Crumpled

Fast but hot! fits adult helmets

I've worn it for a few practice rides as well as a few races. While it's hard to gauge how much it helps, I think it's safe to say it's definitely worth a few seconds per mile. It was quite comfortable to wear in cold conditions, once the temperature climbs above 80F I would say it will be too hot for anything for well over an hour - sweat starts to get on the inside of the visor.

Pros
  • nice item
Cons
  • expensive

So far so good at cycling

got this new helmet last week and has ridden it once so far. I really like that the visor covers the ears and helps block out wind noise. It wasn't too warm, but it seemed to ventilate well. One annoyance with any helmet with a visor is dripping sweat on the inside, but you just have to put up with that. I love the hold up visor feature, although attaching and removing the visor feels like a two-handed job and can be tricky during quick transitions during a race.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Protection

My favorite aero helmet

I really like this helmet. I upgraded from the Giro Advantage 2. My main interest was getting the MIPS feature on my aero helmet. But overall I like this helmet better. I had no issues with overheating when using a white helmet. I find that the ventilation provided to me is adequate for my needs. (And I'm an Alaskan, I'm usually sensitive to overheating on hot days.) The fit really suits me. My favorite feature is probably the protective visor. It offers a clear view of more than 180 degrees…

Fast but there are problems

I am an experienced triathlete who competed for the US team. I heard good reviews about this helmet so I decided to buy it. In a few practice runs down to 70.3, I could tell the helmet was fast (or at least felt). However, during the training runs, I was very hot and sweat started dripping off the visor onto my nose and lower face. In addition, the size approached a little. The worst part was experienced during that 70.3 race. It took me about a mile to play around with the visor and eventually

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Good but not great

I love my Jiro! suitable for sport

I love this helmet and it was the one I should have bought to start with. I used a different helmet without a built in visor which resulted in me wearing goggles. The top rim of the goggles interfered with forward vision in the aerodynamic position, and the goggles would fog up if not enough air flowed around the lenses, with sweat sometimes dripping onto the lenses. The integrated Giro visor offers a completely clear view without fogging or dripping. The visor is held to the helmet by a series

Pros
  • delivery was very fast
Cons
  • functionality

great aero helmet! on Helmets & Accessories

Received it last night and took it for a 110 mile trip today. I bought this helmet based on the recommendations everyone gave. here is my personal experience. I started this ride in the dark and raised my visor. he stays in place. When the sun came out I put it on. Wow, it cuts out all the noise! it makes me faster when i get stuck. I rode faster and wasted less power. I was worried the helmet would be hot in Houston in early September. The helmet with the visor up covered the holes, but it was

  • Dope 🔥

  • Definitely bad product

Good, but. - Sport

First of all I was happy with it until it was delivered. It is brand new but the retail box is torn at the top and front. No big deal, just a box. Then I noticed that the helmet seems to be used, not new, has a strange smell, but there are doubts that it could be the manufacturer's smell, for example the smell of a new car. So I tried it on and the fit was good except the visor put pressure on my upper ears and the visor was a bit sharp. Another thing is that the tail blocks the ability to…
