I bought these lights for my grandparents to use on their new patio and they love them! The warmth of the lights is really nice and they illuminate the whole area beautifully. This set also comes with nearly 100ft lamps so they have an extra filament to use in front of the house as well as a filament perfect for the patio. Living in Florida there is a lot of heat and rain so the fact that they are weatherproof is really great. The way they are made gives me confidence that they will hold up even with fluctuating humidity levels. They are made the same as other waterproof flashlights I've had in the past. The cord and the area where the bulbs screw in feel secure and taut. The reason I docked a star is because I think they should have come with a dimmer or at least a remote control. These similarly priced patio/outdoor lights usually come with a remote control and many come with a dimmer as well. These lights can be used with a dimmer, so it's a little annoying that a separate item (along with a separate remote control) is required to use this feature.
