Last week I discovered I have a Bissell cleaning pad that looks like this striped one. When I used the solid whites that came with the machine, I couldn't slide the steamer forward on the vinyl floor. I had to slightly lift it forward and pull it back. That put a lot of strain on my back. Plus, these pads looked dirty after a single use, and for good reason. But the dirt was not washed away. They were clean but didn't look like it. The one I had with the stripes not only allowed me to move forward, but came off pretty clean. That's why I ordered this pack of the same kind. I hope they work the same as the BIssell brand. They fit perfectly on my Bissell 1040a.
