This is a great replacement for the seat bolt that came with the bike. Tools are not required. Should have bought 2 just in case but it's a good secure fit. One year later. February 2019 It has been about a year since I have worn this product. I had to tighten the seat back bracket and try to loosen the seat bolt with my hands and gloved hands. Just don't move! I took some pliers and managed to loosen them, but the only thing I loosened was the knurled handle. The threaded rod stayed in the bike. I've ordered another one and am hoping to get a thread post to put a new one in. Still worth 5 stars but that shouldn't have happened with a quality product. (2012 Limited) Great customer service! A few days later a new one came in the mail. Thanks very much!
