Review on 2-Inch Steel Square GAU 188 02: A Sturdy and Trustworthy Choice by Jacob Seymour

Small (must have!) Compact and robust design. VERY useful for setting up tooling and achieving squareness to tight tolerances on a smaller piece. It's not as accurate as my Starret, but again, it's "enough" accurate for a fraction of the price. I don't have enough attention or time to measure the difference, it's less than 2 thousandths of an inch (i.e. half the thickness of a sheet of paper) which is fine for woodworking and tool setting. Of course, for good processing, buy purebred squares. I'm deducting a star because I didn't pay attention to the top edge of the insert. Not an important part, but it could have been more useful otherwise.
