Review on 🖥️ ASUS PRIME H370M-Plus/CSM LGA1151 (300 Series) DDR4 HDMI DVI VGA M.2 mATX Motherboard (H370M-PLUS) by Jacob Morrison

5 stars for what it is; great budget board. Warning: I always use ASUS, Intel, Crucial and nVidia, so I can't compare this to other brands of components. When I narrowed the search, this is what was left. I paired it with the following components: - Compact Fractal Design Define C Silent ATX case (a step above budget) - Intel Core i3-8100 CPU with standard cooler - 2 x 4GB Crucial DDR4 2400 RAM - Samsung 970 EVO NVMe 500 M SSD 0.2GB @ PCIe x4 (NOT a budget model, that premium little dude) - MSI GTX 1050 graphics card - Seasonic Focus Plus 650W PSU (80+ Gold) (also NOT a budget model, 10 year warranty) I like high quality PSUs ) This was my first NVMe M.2 installation. After receiving conflicting advice from various sources, I decided to use the default BIOS "Optimized Default" settings. I then flashed it from the BIOS to the latest BIOS (v.1402) and turned it off. I inserted a USB stick with Windows 10 Home v.1903 and booted it up. Everything went very smoothly. The BIOS and motherboard recognized the NVMe M.2 without any problems and the Windows installation started immediately. I created a medium sized boot partition for Windows and I was done. After about 10 minutes I dotted all the i's and crossed out the t's. When I finished the project, the result was a computer that boots and runs very quickly and has been running without problems for a couple of weeks. Compared to my own computer built last December with an i5-9600K processor, a Z390 chipset and a regular 2.5" SATA SSD, this new i3 computer boots with an NVMe M.2 drive a few seconds faster. Both machines have the same version of Windows 10: 1903, 18362.267. This was for a close friend who had to move from Windows 7. I loved it so much I'm getting a twin for my wife who is also moving. with Windows 7. (It gets the MSI GTX 1650 graphics card). I recommend this mobile phone for what it is; good budget compensation. If you need more performance, faster memory and more features, choose Z390 chipset, ATX mobile phone and i5 or i7 processor.
