I bought these to make sure the wheel spacers were properly centered sure the tapered saddle should center it but these forces are to be exact. The extra thread spreads the load over a wider area of the bolt/bolt and the finish is great. So if you have a wheel or spacer that is not centered on the hub, aligning it properly should help. They will take a little longer to carefully align the wheel/seal until the lug is screwed in without undue pressure, but once everything is aligned they move freely and hold the assembly in place.
