I bought 4T to create some custom shirts for my little one. My son is only about 4 years old and has been doing 4T's confidently for some time. They were short and square. They worked for the quick project I had in mind but barely got to his waist. He is 41 inches tall and we have a slightly larger torso than legs in this family so he might fit other 3-4 year olds better. The fabric seems quite stiff and thin. Again, the shirt's boxy look isn't perfect, but it works. for custom holiday shirts in a pinch.
